      Anna Simons

                              Licensed Music Together® Center Director, Registered Music Together® Teacher, Certification Level I & II

    Center Director Anna Simons brings a vast amount of knowledge to Music Together®, with a background of over 15 years in early childhood education as a Kindergarten teacher and a parent of two children.  Anna grew up in Philadelphia and is excited to bring a quality early childhood music program like Music Together® to Philadelphia. She is a graduate of the High School for Creative and Performing Arts. Anna continued her education at Temple University where she received her B.S. and M.Ed in Early Childhood Education.  After apprenticing with Patricia Azar from Magical Music Together and teaching Music Together® for several years,  Anna returned to Music Together Headquaters and received her Certification Level I for Music Together® teaching mastery with Susan Darrow in August 2009. Anna returned again in August of 2014 with Lili Levinowitz, PhD, Director of Research and Co-Author of the Music Together® and Ken Gulimartin the founder of Music Together® and received her Certification Level II in 2015 after completing her research project. Anna keeps wanting to learn and after 3 years of training Anna was awarded Orff Certification.  Anna truely believes that music is to be shared and that music is for everyone. 

 

   Samantha Mcleod Cunningham

                                           Registered Music Together® Teacher, Certification Level I 

Sam is a 2010 graduate of Rowan University with a degree in music education. Along with being registered Music Together® teacher, she works as an elementary band and choir director in Woodbury, NJ. She completed her Music Together teacher training in July 2010. In August of 2012, Sam was awarded Music Together® Certification Level I, having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education.

Sam loves to play the flute, and her flute often appears in class, especially at lullaby time. She is finding her first semester of teaching Fall 2010) to be wonderful, and she really loves interacting with the families in a musically stimulating environment. She is very excited to join the Enchanted Music Together family, and looks forward to sharing her love of music with young children and their families!
